Selly is a story of a boy’s fascination with nature. Peter catches a little beautiful bird in the compound. He instantly falls in love with it, and would like to keep it for himself. He even gives it a name, Selly. The bird however doesn’t return his love, and flies away, when Peter puts it down so that he can build it a nest. Peter in his innocence follows the bird, and consequently lands into problems. He is finally rescued by his family who find him stuck in a marsh.
